Several news sources are saying that Bad Juju, the parent company of Indie Royale and Desura, has filed for bankruptcy.

Desura is a digital distribution platform that was once owned by Linden Lab, who sold it to Bad Juju last year.

Recently they had already been negatively in the news because they weren’t paying some of their developers and now it seems the problems may have been even bigger than that.

Although it is not yet official (so it seems), but according to the Gamasutra article (which you can read here) their employees have been told not to speak to anyone by the company lawyers and have been ‘locked out’.

Other employees also found an online bankruptcy file for the claim.

Probably a good thing Linden Lab got rid of it in time.
